We had a great experience at a hostel in Banos. the staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. They accommodated us with a temporary room when we arrived early. Plus, when we left behind our iPad, they promptly found it and arranged to send it back to us. the room itself was spotless, albeit small, but it was well-designed with two double beds and a bathroom. the staff even canceled our reservation for a second night at no charge when our son fell ill and the street noise became disruptive. They also provided excellent recommendations for activities and held our bags while we explored.
